I don’t know how you all at CR manage to f this up. IT’S SO SIMPLE!!!! Stop rating car their based on the AVERAGE of other cars. Start rating them ALL based on the ideal: the ideal being zero problems for infinite years and miles. Then just start tracking each car and see how they track to that ideal all the way until the car is x years old. This new car/used car nonsense in reliability is just like watching you all shuffle a deck of cards while us as readers are left gambling to make sense of these yearly yo-yo’s.
