    Get off my lawn…

  2. Time to stop relying on technology for everything! We’ll never survive when we lose the tech, we’ll have forgotten how to do the simplest tasks!😊

There needs to be a law against it.

  4. Its like honda taking away the volume knob. Other manufacturers didnt learn from this? How hard is it to run a car company. Do these COO’s, VP’s, CEO’s not drive themselves?

    Keep it simple!

  6. I hate this stuff. It’s a waste of resources making it digital.

So dumb that people thought Elon was “revolutionary” for introducing the touch screen. But obviously, it’s a nightmare. If anyone besides daddy Elon did it first, it would have been rightfully endlessly criticized and mocked to a short demise.

  8. Tactile always works better, a screen distracts drivers and leads to potential accidents, as opposed to just feeling for a button you’ve felt before

Because adjusting vents by hand was sooooooo hard that they needed to make it computer controlled.

    Isn’t this made in China?

And that same car will become e-waste in 4 months.

Having a tablet that has all the controls should be illegal

Commonly used controls should not be in the infotainment unit. Let’s cause an accident because someone tried to change the direction of the air vent in the infotainment unit and didn’t see that traffic had stopped or a hazard on the road. It’s so stupid. I was annoyed when they put the heated and cooled seat/steering wheel controls in the infotainment unit.

Old people complaining about new tech.

  15. This is completely stupid imo.

Not being able to adjust my vents while I’m driving because it’s on a screen sounds annoying, not innovative.

The problem is unfortunately most of America has fallen below an 85 iq for the first time in our History…

    your not making life easier
if you just want flashy lights
then just get away from all the critical systems and ad random led’s

You can build a plastic vent movable for 10 dollar… or a vent with a screen, an app, several servos and electric motors for 2000 dollars… WHY???

  19. @kurushimee | July 5, 2024 at 12:20 PM |

Actual answer: touch screen is way cheaper than any physical buttons. So, they make more money, hence they don’t want to do anything better because it’d be more costly
