Damn that NX is ugly
I love how CR chooses its “best cars” versus other automotive journalists. Every vehicle is practical and reliable, which most consumers need, rather than listing the latest Porsche or Lamborghini.
Suck up
Thank you!
The Nissan Sentra beating the Civic was surprising.
Exceptional value compared to the competitors. I’m sure the civic is more competitive but at a high cost
I’ll have to check the data on this one. I don’t think most people would pick the Sentra over a civic in a side by side comparison.
Sentra has a higher CR road test score (83 vs 74) and better predicted reliability in the CR ratings.
If you visit the dealers you can see the Sentra is MUCH cheaper than the Civics, the Civics prices are getting into Camry territory. Also the new Civic has not been the most reliable either so I can see how Sentra won that category.
I just wonder how much of that savings is erased when it’s time to sell. Civics are also priced at a significant premium on the used market.
Just as Subaru started to make good looking cars they make the abomination that is the Forester. It takes effort to make a car that ugly.
See the Royalty Auto Service video about the least expensive brands to maintain.
No Tesla Swasticars.
Hey it goes 0 to 1939 in 3s
Sentra interesting
I wanted larger and cheap and well rated so we got an Impala LOL
What about larger SUVs? Like 4Runner, Pilot, CX90 etc?
They are mid sized and lost to the Highlander.
The head room on not otherwise that small Honda Accord is bizarrely 37.5 ?Is Honda trying to torture tall customers!.Or is Edmunds specs inaccurate?Head room way out of proportion for the overall size of the car!Ofcourse I am not impressed with the leg room either!
X5? Are you still factoring reliability? Doesn’t sound like…
All our Top Pick cars have to have average or better predicted reliability
No Tesla. Tesla is disqualified.
The biggest news in new cars is massive price increases that completely change the affordability aspects of buying a new car. But here? Crickets.
True, but industry wide and what exactly is there to discuss? And likely much more expensive if tariffs imposed….
You trust consumers on car advice?
There are consumers who unironically bought the Tesla cybertruck. Why not have a mechanics report.
What happened to reliability after the cars you mentioned our junk
Thank you for all the testing you guys do! Subaru sure has come a long way in reliability! Also small suggestion: include in the title “top car picks”
BMW?
And naturally they had to include the Nazimobile.
Buying a Tesla isn’t a good idea anymore. With the boycott Tesla movement going on I don’t think Tesla will hold value for much longer anymore
