Is this comparison with same capacity engines? Like , cylinders, power….

  3. Mileage is important but so is reliability and towing capacity.

    • Thing is a lot of cars that aren’t fuel efficient for their class, in general, come from brands that aren’t known for reliability anyways.

Can you really compare gasoline models with hybrids or even an EV? Not an apples to apples comparison. 😂

  5. Are these comparisons split between ICE only and ICE Hybrids? Or combined?

Combined – many (but not all) of the top performers in each category were hybrids

  6. I want to like this video, but some of these comparisons just didn’t seem fair. Hybrids usually are uplevel engine options and are gonna be better in mileage so harping on a gas engine doing so poorly compared to hybrid uplevel engines just didn’t seem fair. Compare gas to gas, and hybrid to hybrid so if someone wants to shop hybrid, let them know what’s the worst hybrid fuel economy wise. Just my 2 cents to separate gas mileage from hybrid mileage.
