Very nice! Glad to see so many traditional OEMs compete in the EV space. In today’s world, $84K doesn’t sound too much, though I’m more of Chevy Bolt type.

The hyperscreen and the tablet version use the exact same UI and thus the exact same menu structure. The only difference is that there are some climate control buttons below the screen which in the hyperscreen are also separate but on the screen. CR’s curmudgeon dislike for the system is downright dumb. Finally the special tool to open the hood is a phillps screw driver. The only thing keeping you from accessing the hood handle is a plastic cover with a screw. The dealer will hapilly remove and throw it away if you wish, if removing a screw is too difficult a proposition to do it youself 😊. It’s a moot point since the only thing you might need to access there is the 12V battery jump terminals. Of note there is no hood prop bar so you will need to prop it open with a stick of some kind.
