We discuss our favorite vehicles and trends from the floor of the 2023 NY Auto Show, including previews of the Toyota Grand Highlander, Kia EV9, Ford Mustang, Ram 1500 REV, and Chevrolet Equinox and Blazer EVs. We also share our thoughts on the future direction of the automotive landscape, with the lack of concept cars at this year's show, and the polarization between big trucks and performance vehicles in contrast with the continuing electrification of the industry.

Love y’all’s show! Soooo much EV content for 5% of the market. Huge distrust out here in the hinterland of the whole EV thing. Negligible charging network to start with. Don’t think the whole carbon footprint impact has been reported. Great work as usual guys. Thanks!
Not so much distrust as clear impracticality. For example, I live 200 miles round trip from the nearest city. There are no charging stations between here and there.
love the new mustang!
The never ending truck monstrosity size inflation is disgusting. you all should call them out for it.
I was able to attend the NY Auto Show once many years ago. It was amazing.
From this video, I agree, buttons are good. One other thing is that a dedicated volume knob is a must. I hope that car makers are realizing this.
Camaro dead = End of the golden era of the automobile.
I am going to the NY auto auto next Saturday. I live in Astoria, Queens. It’s been 10 years since I went to the auto show. I love watching your talking cars podcast every Wednesday and on Fridays as well. Love your videos guys and keep on talking cars. Maybe I’ll visit your test track in Connecticut.
Except Equinox and Kia totally ugly cars that not that many customers will want.
I love the 7th generation 2024 Ford Mustang. Long live the N/A 5.0 Liter Coyote V8. I’ll get my dream car in a 6-speed manual transmission with the V8 engine. (2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium) but I cannot drive stick. I’ll pick the 10-speed automatic. V8 is very bulletproof if you take care of your properly this time. I highly would recommend waiting a couple more years for the people at Ford to sort out the kinks. Fantastic American icon.
Way to much time spent watching three guys talk. Walk around and show the cars.
Not seeing any cars I’d be interested in.
Some cool things here, but overall, I think I’d pick Alex.
