You can’t say no to them. Car dealerships have them as mandatory add ons.
…….go somewhere else
It depends on your language, demeanor and how much you do know and how you present such knowledge to them.
It’s always a good time beating those abusive finance guys!
In that case, ask for a mandatory 100% discount for the mandatory add-ons.
If the car is permanently modified to accept the add-ons, tell them the modification permanently devalue the vehicle and you want discount for that.
At least that’s what I will do pre-COVID, I don’t really know much about the market nowadays truth been told.
Yeah some dealers already install all of these add-ons, in which case they are already added on and no way to remove. I don’t say no, I just avoid any dealership that does this in the first place so I can avoid the whole conversation. 😂 I also avoid any dealership that smears Armor-All all over the interior of a brand new car and on the tires too. And any dealer that applies pin striping to the vehicles I avoid. It’s actually a really easy way to know if you’re going to be able to get a fair deal. As soon as a dealer starts with any of this stuff, it’s a bad sign.
Toyota in my State adds a lot of junk, fortunately I can shop in the neighboring state and avoid all the add-ons
At these prices a vehicle better be designed to last A LOT longer than a decade!
Remember, stealerships are NOT your friend. Think of them as scumbag pickpockets.
