We offer our first impressions of the redesigned, three-row SUV, and share our personal experiences with the Pilot during our first few days of ownership. The dealbreaker for me on all of the Honda re-stylings of the last two years is their lack of style or sophistication or distinctiveness
Imo, the Pathfinder looks a lot better in all its angles than the Pilot. The same is true in the interior. My preferred placement of ac vents on the second and third row seats is on the headliner, which the Pathfinder has. Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto are also standard on the Pathfinder and not on Pilot. The Pilot looks really boxy, and the headlights look cheap except for the DRL, and the inside is so bland. Between the two, I’d choose and buy a Pathfinder.
The cloth seats in the Sport trim were more comfortable for me than the leather. It kinda reminds me of blue jeans .
Wednesdays instead of Fridays! What a great way to get over the midweek hump and love the new opening!
It’s the Honda Large SUV.
Is 2023 Honda Pilot still direct injection only? And timing belt? 😟
needs to be a timing chain. no more Hondas or at least change that it is an interuper engine. I was just thinking about this recently.
Honda has a great V6.
Would be near perfect with chain driven cams and added port injection.
I had someone drive into the back of my Prius, probably at just 5mph, and his insurance had to pay out over $3000 to fix the car!
This would be an amazing addition to our roads! Very much needed, especially with the pace that the city is growing!
It’s only Wednesday talking cars came out
This trio is even more irritating than Gabe chronically saying “aaaaaah” after every word. Quincy is the “Dad” who faces the wrong way in an elevator and talks about how expensive parking downtown is….
For $55K, you might as well buy a MDX that starts at $51,750 for SH-AWD
OOOooo new intro!
Why not regular car reviews like you guys used to do back in 2010s. It was good to hear a 7 min review than a 40min
Very practical!
Here is my issue with this vehicle: The Telluride is boxy, but it looks stylish (especially pre-refresh); the Pilot is boxy, and it looks like an old Ford product already.
$50K sounds expensive, but that is near the average car price these days. The Pilot packs a lot of capability for an average car. Guys, show Dr. Emily some respect.
– I’m going to use my old man voice.
— Wait that’s your normal voice.
The return look in recognition of the statement.
Lmao
The new intro is very much improved.
like the new intro
Nice intro music. CR is evolving finally
Interesting that these guys have a totally different take than other reviewers on handling, seat comfort, etc. I wish they would do more comparisons to other cars for a relative take vs just saying they like or don’t like something about a car. If a reviewer has something negative to say, they should mention a competitor model that does that thing better
