The EV6 is Kia's first pure all-electric vehicle, based on Kia's new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) that also serves as the foundation for the Hyundai Ioniq 5. We share our first impressions on how the EV6 drives, and the interesting design choices made in its interior, and how it compares to the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and others. Limited supply and historic demand have led some car dealers to demand thousands of dollars over MSRP for new vehicles. We share our advice on what you can do to avoid being taken advantage of at the dealership, especially when it comes to purchasing an EV.

pretty cool lookin
please go back to multiple topics discussion instead of just 2 topics.
in stressful situations,i prefer normal shifter lever to rotary buttons
even a toyota dealer in los angeles is asking for $3k above sticker for a corolla cross, and the unit got sold before my friend got to the showroom to check the unit…LOL
But are they selling Highlanders for $100K? I just saw an article about a Kia dealer marking up a Telluride that much.
It’s like they took a page from real estate agents…I wouldn’t be surprised if vehicles went into bidding war territory @ dealerships.
Many dealerships have been adding on “market adjustment” to MSRP for years.
It’s usually the ones that scream and yell at you on a tv ad, telling you what a great deal you’re going to get.
how about car companies build very simple to maintain electric cars…..so people will just order online and not need a dealer…how about maintenance????? make cars simple plug and play so people can just also buy parts online and diy the maintenance
I dont get how anyone would ever buy a car that has a «markup» as you call it in usa. Its the same as pissing in the customers face! Litteraly!
It’s the same as ppl bidding over by hundreds of thousands for homes.
Order an EV6 in Australia, reportedly delivery in 2025!
That touchscreen toggle is the epitome of lazy design.
No back wiper. Not for me. Thanks
What kind of dog are talking about that would not fit in that car?
The dealer mark-up at Kia/Hyundai dealers has been bad even before pandemic supply chain issues. Unless Kia/Hyundai can reign in these practices, I won’t be buying from them anytime soon. And I would be their target consumer.
Re: panoramic roofs. I’m not a fan of them, actually preferring none. Yes it may seem more cloistered but I prefer the older term “close coupled.” I can’t wait to test drive this and the Hyundai EV.
