Wow, consumer reports tests hoodies now?
Hi, This product evaluation is part of CR’s “Outside the Labs” reviews program, which is separate from our laboratory testing and ratings. Learn more about the evaluation process at CR.org/hoodies. Thanks!
They all look the same……and a hoodie shouldn’t be over $50
I don’t know about that. I still have a Tommy sweatshirt I paid $90 in the 90s and it’s still in great shape and feels amazing.
@Lord Garth But it was probably manufactured by a mass manufacturer and put Tommy’s name on it. Instant $50 price hike.
@notconvincedgranny They have their own manufacturing facilities. I think vietnam at the time. Fun fact outlet stores used to be a great deal with the same merch but now they make clothes of cheaper quality specifically to sell at the outlet stores.
“I tried them on” – this is how Consumer Reports now evaluates an article of clothing? Ralph Nadar is spinning in his grave.
This video is just some fun complimentary content to our full evaluation, which you can find here: https://www.consumerreports.org/clothing/hoodie-evaluation-yeezy-x-gap-edges-out-competitors-a6160200023/
What about shrinking, color loss, or pilling?
I expect more from CR.
probably things you’d need to pay for to see on their site
@Axe Avier – Great questions! We go into all of that here, which is in front our our paywall 🙂 https://www.consumerreports.org/clothing/hoodie-evaluation-yeezy-x-gap-edges-out-competitors-a6160200023/

Anything connected to Yeezy gets a thumbs down… pseudo hipster wear.
the idea of a hipster wearing yeezy is really odd. I think we’ve lost the idea of what hipster means
I will take a $20 Walmart hoodie for the win.
$15 Old Navy.
$17 Costco.
🙂
YEEZY GAP THE GOAT
Seriously? Your idea of the ‘best hoodie’ is to pay 5x too much for one??? This is the type of ‘rating’ one would expect from a click-bait google search, not from Consumer Reports…

Uhhhh…
Now have a 40-50yr old evaluation 🤔
Is this what happens when you give the interns control of the YouTube channel for the day?
