Consumer Reports takes its first look at the Kia EV9, a three-row all-electric SUV. Comparable to the Kia Telluride, the EV9 offers something rare in the EV market: a family friendly hauler that can seat seven passengers, with 300 miles of range, from a non-luxury automaker.

Personally, this has been my biggest gripe about EVs besides charge time and price. All of them are meant for small families or individuals, none of them are family focused. Hopefully this is just the beginning!
They had a lot of qualifiers on that, “first family friendly EV from a non-luxury automaker”. Prices start a bit higher than the Tesla Model Y, which is also a family friendly 3 row SUV, though a bit smaller (small third row)
Maybe Kia Hyundai will be good at EVs because they sure suck at building engines.
Front end kinda busy and you know it’s gonna top out at near $70k.
