Redesigned for 2024, the midsized, three-row Chevrolet Traverse adopts a more traditional SUV look. While it doesn’t boast a standout feature like some competitors, it's well-rounded and competent in most areas. However, some of CR's experts said that its powertrain falls short, citing noise and occasional roughness above 3000 RPM.
This and the acadia are the top pick in my segment. The only thing keeping it from perfect is the lack of powertrain options.
It doesn’t look too bad for an American SUV. CR ratings say it is AVERAGE reliability. The length at 205″ makes it a really tight fight in my garage however.
it needs a 3.6 v6 option

Just buy a Grand Highlander
Hey duuudddee, Chevrolet needs to offer the V6 engine as an option, and included with the towing package. Frequent Towing with the little turbo 4 is going to result in grenading the engine. I’d expect that at a moderate amount of miles…😮
Would you really spend 50 grand on this trash can and expect it to last? No thanks-buy yourself a Honda or a Toyota Highlander hybrid which will outlast any GM or Chevy.
If it was a Toyota it would be the greatest SUV they tested!
