  1. RAV4 Prime * not Prius

  2. Prius Prime? Don’t think so.

  3. At 0:02 you said “this is the 2021 Toyota Prius Prime” it’s the RAV4 Prime

  4. The Prius prime? Might was do some editing before posting CR.

  5. He called it a prius

  6. Its Prime time!

  7. Can I assume 302hp is plenty power for Highlander-prime?

  8. How is the MPG of this crazy #rav4 prime?????

  9. You call this the Prius Prime….it’s a Rav4 Prime….

  10. What Toyota achieved with the RAV4 Prime is as easily possible on the Prius Prime.
Having a plug-in battery that’s x8 to x15 times the capacity of the regular hybrids’ alone guarantees a power increase. What Toyota has changed is it has increased the power ability of the main traction motor. In all past hybrids including the Prius Prime currently, the main traction motors were built adequately enough to accept amps from both the engine/generator and the battery. In large hybrids like the RAV4 and a few Lexuses, the hybrid battery would pump out over 40 hp while the engine could generate over 30hp. The electricity combined goes into the main traction motor, which is fixed to the wheel-road speed.

This RAV4 Prime seems to be able to handle over 120 hp from its bigger battery before it’s combined by whatever the 2.5l engine produces on the side.

If the Prius Prime were built like this (forgetting its lame, 91hp EV lock mode), there would be Priuses with over 180 hp.

  11. 0-60 in under 6 secs is quick, not seriously fast tho…but 302 HP makes it pretty legit for a crossover.

  12. Uh, it’s not the Prius prime :s

  13. 302 HORSEPOWER!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Rav4 Prime 😉

  15. “Toyota Prius Prime” lol

  16. Pretty big for a “prius prime”. 😂

  17. That’s not a Prius prime. 😏

  18. Bet it won’t be fast after the batteries run out of range and it’s just using only the 4 cylinder gas engine!
